Splitwise is not a place for unwanted communication of any kind. If you are experiencing harassment, you can report it by emailing abuse@splitwise.com or following the steps below in the mobile app:
- Tap the Friends tab.
- Tap the relevant friend.
- Tap the gear icon at the top right.
- Tap “report user”.
If you'd like to prevent this person from sending you messages and remove them from your account, you can block them. Blocking removes the person from your friends list, hides all groups you share with them, and mutes notifications and activity from them. They will not be notified that you have blocked them.
