Deleting the payment record from your group or friendship in Splitwise does not cancel or stop the payment from being sent. You will need to cancel it directly in PayPal or Venmo.
Splitwise's PayPal and Venmo integrations are designed to pre-fill payment details and record that a payment took place. Splitwise does not handle the funds and cannot access or modify payments made through these platforms.
