By default, PayPal payments are sent to the primary email address associated with your Splitwise account. If you use a different email address for PayPal, you won't immediately see the money in your PayPal account.
To help resolve this, you can add your Splitwise email as a secondary address on your PayPal account. PayPal has instructions for doing so here. Once added, you should be able to claim any pending funds, and future payments sent through our PayPal integration should arrive seamlessly.
If you don't already have a PayPal account for that email address, you should receive an email with instructions on how to claim your payment.

If you are the sender and would like to cancel a pending payment, please follow the steps outlined in this PayPal article.
If you need further help with your payment, you will need to contact PayPal's support team directly, as Splitwise does not handle any PayPal payment processing. Payments sent through our PayPal integration take place entirely in PayPal. When reaching out, provide them with the PayPal payment ID associated with the relevant payment. You can find this by tapping the payment record in the Splitwise app.
