Splitwise Pro is our premium subscription plan, offering features like currency conversion and receipt scanning, as well as early access to new features.
Here's information about how the different Pro features work:
- Unlimited expenses: Add as many expenses as you need without hitting a limit (free users can add up to 4 expenses each day).
- Transaction import (select countries only): Connect a credit or debit card to see your recent purchases and split them with a tap.
- Search: Search through all of your expenses to quickly find what you're looking for.
- Currency conversion: Convert expenses in your group or friendship to your default currency. (Only Pro subscribers can convert, but all group members will see expenses in their converted form).
- Receipt scanning and itemization: Scan a receipt to automatically create an expense, and itemize individual items to assign them to specific people. (Only Pro subscribers can scan and itemize receipts, but all group members will see expenses created this way).
- Charts: Visualize your spending over time with charts broken down by category.
- Default splits: Set a default split so that every expense you add is automatically divided the way you prefer.
Here's an overview of the plan types. Each plan includes access to all Pro features.
- Individual + Trip Pass (annual subscription): This subscription is billed once annually and can only be used by one person.
- Duo + Trip Pass (annual subscription): This subscription is billed once annually and can be used by two people. Once you subscribe with Pro Duo, you can add another person to your subscription so that you'll both get access to Pro features.
- Monthly subscription: This subscription is billed monthly and can only be used by one person.
Our new yearly plans come with one annual Trip Pass, which can be applied to any trip group of your choosing and grants Pro features to group members for 30 days.
